Maui Nui Luau

Why We Love It -  Right off black rock at the Sheraton Hotel, this luau is great for kids.

Discover the remarkable stories, history, and culture of the Valley Isle and Kaanapali through the songs and dances of Maui and the Pacific.

World renowned Polynesian entertainment producer Tihati Productions presents the best in Hawaiian & Polynesian song and dance, including the spectacular fire knife dance, situated beachfront on award-winning Kaanapali Beach.

Legendary Maui, for whom our island is named, is the Hawaiian demigod said to have lifted the heavens from the earth so that man could walk tall. He slowed the sun’s path across the sky, and he discovered the secret of fire.

As the sun sets upon one of the most magnificent beaches in the world, Maui Nui comes to life through an extraordinary luau experience. Across the Pailolo channel, the beautiful body of water before you, the islands of Molokai, Lanai, and Kahoolawe beckon to our beloved Maui. In ancient times, these islands were the great landmass called Maui Nui, separated over time by thousands of years of erosion.

Torches are lit to prepare the way for the spectacular cliff dive off Puu Kekaa (Black Rock) that ignites the celebration at Maui Nui and begins your unforgettable luau experience at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in Kaanapali
