COVID Update -  We are open! Outdoor open-air seating with private tables physically distanced from other guests. Temperature screening upon arrival. All food and drinks are delivered to your table. Masks are required when not seated.

Travel to ancient Hawaii during an exciting and memorable evening exploring the legends of Maui!


The Aha'aina Wailea, Grand Wailea Luau lies along Maui’s southern coastline and has been consistently voted as the best Wailea luau. It is located in the luxurious Grand Wailea resort and includes complimentary valet parking.


Honua'ula will take you to the time when seafaring Polynesians discovered the majestic Hawaiian islands. The story begins with the voyages of Moikeha and La'amaikahiki who first visited the sacred island of Maui, specifically the area called Honua'ula. The story reveals the goddesses and gods who guarded these courageous individuals while they co-existed and lived in harmony.

First, Pele, the goddess of fire, is described paving the way with her lava so there would be land sufficient for the Hawaiian people to live on. Then, Lilinoe, the goddess of the mist, sent cool rains to nourish the lands. The mermaid of Maui, Kananaka, swooned near the surfers and tried to capture them for fun. Lastly, the love story legend of Naulu, the goddess of the clouds, who could only visit her lover Kanaloa in and upon the clouds.

These stories combine to create a memorable and exciting evening with traditional hula and chants that explore the Hawaiian history of Maui.

Cancellation Policy

Please be advised that we do have a 24 hour cancellation policy for our luaus prior to check-in time. Should you need to cancel your reservation please do so at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled luau day.

If the luau is cancelled, we will do our best to contact all attendees prior to 2 hours before show time via phone or text message. In the event of inclement weather during the show performance resulting in concluding event, no refunds will be made once show has commenced.

Please be aware that these bookings are subject to confirmation. If this is a same-day or next-day booking, there is a reasonable chance this will not be confirmed. For bookings that are confirmed, there will be no cancellations or refunds.
