Snorkeling and Sightseeing tours Lanai, a fun day for all. With a chance to swim & snorkel with turtles, dolphins, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a number of reef fish species amongst the colorful coral reef. We supply all your snorkeling equipment, snack and drinks. There is an on-board bathroom, coolers  and fresh water showers, swim platform, two wide loading ladders and a Bimini hard top covering most of her deck for sun protection.


The Boat
Sanity is an extremely comfortable, fast, safe, and solid 32 passenger custom built aluminum boat specifically designed with the tourist in mind. So get you're camera ready, make yourself comfortable and be ready for an adventure of a lifetime.

Lanai Island
Following the beach loading from Kaanapali we will head South - destined for the South Eastern shore of the remote island of Lanai.

Beautiful Beaches & Natural reefs
Boasting one of Hawaii?s longest secluded beaches, the North shore of Lanai is a marvel in itself. The beach is guarded by a natural reef and littered with ship wrecks of unfortunate mariners who have fallen victim to Hawaii?s high winds and strong currents. Please note, we only visit these shipwrecks on the full day tour.

From here we will proceed to the West of the island where the next 35 miles of Lanai?s shoreline exhibits some of the most pristine sights you will ever see. The shoreline changes complexion from sand to beautiful lava rock formations, caves, and sea cliffs. You will experience these sites in complete tranquility as there will be no other boats around, allowing you to soak up the wonder of your surroundings to their full extent.

Snorkeling fun
Here is where your snorkeling adventure begins. Following instruction by the captain and crew, you will then have access to the most private, secluded, cleanest, and clearest waters you will ever experience. The marine life here is in its natural habitat, just as it has been for thousands of years.

Whilst snorkeling, you may see Green Sea Turtles, Spotted Eagle Rays, Dolphins, Moray eels, Barracudas and any number reef fish species. And if you are really lucky, you may see Humpback whales, Pilot Whales, and even huge Manta Rays. What makes this experience all the more unique is that every trip is that little bit different and you never know quite what you?re going to see until you get there.

All equipment supplied
  • All snorkeling equipment is provided; it is clean and top of the line, but if you have your own, feel free to bring it along.
  • If you have not snorkeled before or do not feel confident, there?s no need to worry. Our captain and crew who are certified life guards and dive instructors will give you some professional tips to help you on your way. They will even escort you along the way if that makes you feel more comfortable.
  • Those who do not wish to snorkel are well catered for as Sanity has plenty of room in both the sun and the shade to simply relax and take in the scenery.
  • We encourage you to take photos of your unique adventure along the way, but be warned, don?t use up all your battery too early - we stop at three different snorkeling spots each with their own unique beauty.

Light Snack & Drinks
We do provide drinks and a light snack. If you do choose to bring your own food and/or drink there is no need to worry about bringing coolers of any sort as they are provided for you on board.

Please be aware that these bookings are subject to confirmation. If this is a same-day or next-day booking, there is a reasonable chance this will not be confirmed. For bookings that are confirmed, there will be no cancellations or refunds.


Restrictions

Due to weather and circumstances beyond our control this tour may be subjected to postponement. If this is the case we will notify you of these changes via phone. 

Although we do our very best to cater to everyone?s needs there are some restrictions. Unfortunately due to the nature of the tour, we do not allow children under the age of 6 on board. We also advise against pregnant women taking the tour.
