Ocean Riders offers the most innovative and exciting trip on Maui. Sea caves, burial caves, spinner dolphin, white sandy beaches, shipwrecks and some of the most remote and remarkable snorkeling water make this trip a must for every adventurer. We cover more ground than any other trip offered and thus our chances of dolphin encounters are much greater. We also include seasonal whale watching in the day so your customers will get every bit the experience and close encounters as the other "just a whale watch trips". Our hard-bottom inflatable, the same kind of craft used for ocean search and rescue missions, is safe, fast and the most comfortable raft to Lanai.

The first part of our venture is along the north shore of Lanai'i. Crossing the Au Au channel, we begin our circle island at shipwreck beach. The rusted hulls of the shipwrecks date back to WW II. We travel down the wind swept coast where miles of isolated white sand beaches beckon us ashore for exploration. Continuing around to the leeward side, hang on tight while we skim within a few feet of towering sea cliffs and lava rock out crops. Numerous coves offer splendid snorkeling where marine creatures of all types can be found including dolphins, turtles, octopus, rays, eels and fish. Any one of these spots offers a remote and SECLUDED setting for lunch.

Dolphins, Dolphins and more Dolphins, green sea turtles, monk seals and whales are just a few of the possible exotic sea-life encounters.

Restrictions

Due to the adventuresome nature of our trips we do not recommend this for pregnant women, people with back problems or acute physical problems of any kind. Ocean Riders reserves the right to refuse to take anyone we feel is unfit for our trip. Itinerary is subject to change based on weather conditions.
